there was a lot of uncertainty in the back end of the Vikings WR corps, and heading into training camp there were jobs open for guys if they could make the leap.
Unfortunately, Davion Davis was not one of the guys that could do that:
Davis never really got going, netting just two catches for 11 yards in the preseason, and he never really garnered any buzz during practices. Tomasson mentioned that he might be a practice squad candidate, but ‘not right away’.
That kind of tells me that the Vikings really don’t have any plans for Davis moving forward.
