When it comes to Super Bowls, the Vikings don't have much to brag about. At least Fred Cox has come up with something.
Minnesota and the Buffalo Bills hold the record for the most Super Bowl appearances without a victory. Both have gone 0-4.
"I don't think they were as good of a football team as we were,'' Cox, a Vikings kicker from 1963-77, said of the Bills.
Cox is one of 10 still living who played in all four Minnesota Super Bowls during the 1970s, and all are back this weekend for a reunion. With this being the season of Super Bowl 50, the Vikings are getting into the spirit of celebration as much as they can.
