MANKATO, Minn. -- The Vikings' latest film session reviewed center Mick Tingelhoff's hall of fame career, previewing his weekend induction and a history lesson coach Mike Zimmer hopes resonates with his players.
The team will fly to Canton, Ohio, on Saturday and tour the museum. While buses will take most of the players to their Cleveland hotel, vans will be available for those who want to attend the prime-time induction ceremony.
"I just thought with the team that we have, the youth that we have, I thought it was important they see some of the things that gave them the opportunity to do what they're doing now -- making money, prestige, just how this game grew from its past players," Zimmer said Friday.
