Vikings officially awarded two Compensatory Draft Picks

On Friday, the National Football League officially announced the distribution of the 32 Compensatory Draft Picks that teams received for the net loss of free agents from the previous offseason. As expected, the Minnesota Vikings did get some extra picks out of this year’s process.

In keeping with what the folks from Over the cap projected, the Vikings received two additional picks in the sixth round in this year’s NFL Draft. That brings them back up to their original allotment of seven picks, as they were without two of their selections because of trades.
