We passed along the news a couple of days ago that the Minnesota Vikings intended to sign linebacker Quentin Poling, and on Saturday the signing became official. Poling, who has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game, will compete for a spot on the linebacker depth chart, but in all likelihood will have to impress on special teams if he wants a spot on the Minnesota roster in 2020.
In order to make room for Poling on the roster to keep it at 80 players, the Vikings waived running back Tony Brooks-James.
