In a bit of a surprise, mainly due to the timing of the decision, the Minnesota Vikings announced on Tuesday that the team has waived linebacker Brian Asamoah II.
With Asamoah's departure, running back Ty Chandler and wide receiver Jalen Nailor are now the only two members of the Vikings' 2022 draft class that are left on the team's current roster.
Asamoah was in the middle of the final year of his rookie contract with Minnesota, but now, he'll likely have to find a new home if he wants to play during the 2025 season.
