A few months ago, the Minnesota Vikings inked head coach Kevin O’Connell to a long-term contract extension ahead of his fourth season with the team. Today, they have done the same with the man running the front office.
The Vikings have announced that they have agreed to the terms of a multi-year contract extension with General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. The financial terms of the deal were not immediately made available.
Minnesota hired Adofo-Mensah after an extensive search following Rick Spielman’s dismissal following the 2021 season. Prior to coming to Minnesota, he served in various roles in the San Francisco 49ers front office and then went on to be the Vice President of Football Operations for the Cleveland Browns in 2020 and 2021.
