MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It may have been a tough weekend for Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh but some local students are helping make him feel a little better.
Earlier this week, first graders at Northpoint Elementary School in Blaine sent letters of support to Walsh following Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks.
With about 30 seconds to play, Walsh missed what might have been a game-winning field goal.
On Thursday morning, he signed autographs and took photos with those kids who still love him. He told the students “thank you from the bottom of my heart”.
