Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Vikings believe Sam Bradford should be able to return for their Week 3 game, depending on how his rehab for a cartilage issue in his knee goes.
Rapoport explains that this is really just a swelling and discomfort issue for Bradford and not a ligament problem, which is obviously great news.
The issue for Bradford is that there’s still no telling how his knee will respond to treatment this week, which means it’s unlikely anything definitive regarding his status will be official until later on in the week.
