Prior to Kyle Rudolph joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2011, Steve Jordan was arguably the best tight end to ever suit up in purple and gold. Even with what Rudolph has done during his career, some may even consider Jordan to still be the greatest tight end to play for the Vikings.
Either way, Jordan was a tremendous talent during his time in Minnesota and now the team is planning to honor him for his contributions later this year.
On Wednesday, the Vikings announced that the former tight end will be the team’s next inductee for their Ring of Honor.
