Adrian Peterson won his third NFL rushing title this season with 1,485 yards, but the Vikings running back spent his first postseason news conference discussing one of the worst games of his career.
Peterson ran eight times for 18 yards in a 38-7 loss to Seattle on Dec. 6, and here come the Seahawks for the playoff opener Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon, with a game-time forecast of 2 degrees.
"Eight carries; you really didn't see too much," Peterson said. "They did a job of taking us out of the run."
