On Saturday, the Minnesota Vikings made a roster move that finally gives them a safety on the roster to back up Harrison Smith and Anthony Harris.
The team has announced that they have added Nate Meadors to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. They have also elevated linebacker Hardy Nickerson for Sunday’s contest.
Meadors made a bit of a splash in the 2019 preseason with a pick-six at the Superdome against the New Orleans Saints. He played cornerback in the limited action he had in 2019, but has been working at safety this past offseason.
