Twin Cities passed over for NFL Draft hosting duties again

For a number of years now, almost from the time the NFL declared that they were taking the NFL Draft away from Radio City Music Hall and moving it around to different cities, the Twin Cities have been rumored to be a place that the league would like to hold the annual selection meeting. Unfortunately, the home of our Minnesota Vikings keeps getting passed over, and it happened again today.

The league has announced that the 2026 NFL Draft will be held in Pittsburgh. With the 2025 Draft already slated for Green Bay (and whatever other nearby cities, presumably), the earliest we could potentially see the Twin Cities host the Draft would be 2027.
