Remember when the Minnesota Vikings finished 9th-worst in passing touchdowns allowed, eighth-worst in passing yards allowed, sixth-worst in total yards allowed, and fourth-worst in points allowed? Well, it was the 2020 season, a mere five months ago.

The why for this series of defensive flubs is likely attributable to injuries — Danielle Hunter, Michael Pierce, Anthony Barr, Eric Kendricks, and Mike Hughes — all missed gobs of time.
