Cousins has been playing some of the best football of his career and yet he’s a 35-year-old QB on the final year of his deal who demands to be paid in humongous guarantees. Does that sound like a nice fit for the competitively rebuilding Vikings? Reasonable minds disagree (which is to say nothing of the unreasonable minds).
