The hiring of the former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator became official Monday, though the move felt inevitable for a couple of weeks, so much so that the Vikings locker room seemed to expand with the presence of visiting team reporters there to get the scouting report on Shurmur and find out why this hiring would make sense.
While speaking to ESPN about his partnership with TGI Friday’s "Big Ribs for the Big Game" promotion, Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph also delved into what made the offense so successful this season under Shurmur’s guidance.
