EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — ’ 40-yard game-tying touchdown Sunday in Chicago has earned him a second nomination for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week this season.
Diggs claimed the Week 6 award via fan votes after posting seven catches for 129 yards in his first career start. This past week, he finished with six receptions for 95 yards, including the critical and dynamic catch-and-run that shifted momentum in the Vikings favor for Minnesota’s first win in Chicago since 2007.
At least one Vikings player has been nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for a third straight week.
