MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly locked up their longest tenured player for the foreseeable future.
ESPN’s Mike Golic Jr. reports the team has signed 32-year-old safety Harrison Smith to a four-year, $64 million extension that makes him the second-highest paid player at his position.
Vikings and All-Pro Safety Harrison Smith have agreed to a 4-year, $64 million extension, per source. The deal makes Smith the second highest-paid safety in the NFL at the age of 32.

The Vikings drafted Smith in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft, and since then he has consistently ranked among the league’s best safeties.
