MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Fans in the Twin Cities were out in full force for Monday night’s Vikings-Packers game at U.S. Bank Stadium, and had the lights out in honor of the late Prince.
Members of Prince’s band, the New Power Generation, joined the Minnesota Orchestra for a version of “Purple Rain.”
Then purple confetti fell on the fans.
Social media gave fans who weren’t able to snag tickets to the Vikings-Packers game a taste of what it was like during the tribute.
