Less than three years after he helped lead the New York Giants to an upset win over the Minnesota Vikings in the 2022 playoffs, Brian Daboll is now without a job.
On Monday, the Giants fired Daboll as their head coach midway through his fourth season with the franchise. New York fell to 2-8 this year after suffering a four-point loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, which was also the team's fifth loss in their last six games.
Despite the Giants' overall team success not being high enough during his tenure, Daboll still has plenty of traits that can be utilized as an offensive assistant coach elsewhere in the NFL, and the Vikings should be one of the teams interested in potentially adding him to their staff.
