Opening Odds: Vikings, unsurprisingly, open as road underdogs against Atlanta

will attempt to win their fourth consecutive game, all of which have come since reigning Offensive Player of the Year Justin Jefferson went on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. However, now the Vikings have much bigger issues, and that’s being reflected in the opening odds of their matchup this week against the Atlanta Falcons (-5) at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The folks at the DraftKings Sportsbook have installed the Vikings as a 5-point underdog to the Falcons in this one. The line started at 3.5 points but quickly jumped to five after the news about Kirk Cousins being finished for the season became official.
