Right tackle Brian O'Neill, cornerback Mackensie Alexander, defensive end D.J. Wonnum and tight end Chris Herndon returned to Vikings practice on Thursday, a day after all four were not seen at TCO Performance Center and listed with "non-injury" designations.
There was concern over a false positive COVID test for at least one of the players in Wonnum, whom a league source said tested positive and negative on Wednesday and was hoping to be cleared by another negative test Thursday morning. There may have been similar situations for the other three players; the team isn't making coaches or players available to reporters until Thursday afternoon.
