OC Gary Kubiak Officially Retires

It turns out the Vikings will in fact be searching for a new offensive coordinator this offseason. While Vikings fans certainly could have seen this one coming, it is now official. Offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak has indeed retired. This now marks the sixth consecutive offseason in which the Vikings will have to fill a void at that coaching position.

The 59-year-old Kubiak has been on record of taking his football career as “year to year” at this point due to health issues. These problems initially caused him to retire following the 2016 season where his Broncos went 9-7 after their Super Bowl season in 2015.
