Three years into his career with the Minnesota Vikings, it’s fair to say that Laquon Treadwell has not lived up to the expectations he was given when the team selected him in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Last season saw Treadwell set career-highs in catches (35), receiving yards (302), and touchdowns (one). But those numbers are normally expected from a rookie wide receiver, not one who has been in the league for three years.
Of the four receivers that were taken in the first round of the 2016 draft, Treadwell’s career production is the worst by a wide margin despite having appeared more games than the others over the last three seasons.
