EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Captain Munnerlyn has battled knee and ankle injuries over the past month, but he’s chomping at the bit at the thought of playing on Turkey Day.
The Vikings nickel cornerback said Monday that he’s turned his attention to getting ready for Thursday’s 11:30 a.m. (CT) road game against Detroit.
“It’s Monday after a game, so I’m feeling kind of sore,” Munnerlyn said. “But at the same time, I’ve got to get my mind right and get ready for this Thursday.
“I know what I signed up for and I know my team needs me to play,” he added.
