MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was activated off the COVID-19/reserve list on Wednesday and will start in the season finale against Chicago, according to coach Mike Zimmer.
Cousins was unable to play in the Vikings' 37-10 loss at Green Bay on Sunday, which knocked Minnesota out of postseason contention, after testing positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 31. The quarterback said his symptoms were "mild" and watched his team play on television while he remained at home in Week 17.
"It's a unique time we're in," Cousins said.
