Fans of the Minnesota Vikings remember Alan Page best for his amazing professional football career as part of the legendary Purple People Eaters defense, but now young people at the former Ramsay Middle School will know his name as well.
The Minneapolis Board of Education voted to rename the school and one of the many suggestions for a new name was Justice Page Middle School in honor of his contributions to the state as well as being the first African-American justice in Minnesota.
