At one time, Blair Walsh was praised for his accuracy and booming leg. He set many Minnesota Vikings franchise records as well as some NFL records during his rookie season for his accuracy and kick power, but since then, things have seemed to go downhill. In fact, things got so bad during the week 2 preseason game against the Oakland Raiders that fans were showing serious concern for the well-being of the kicker position.
This shouldn’t be the case. The Minnesota Vikings recently locked up Blair Walsh on a 4 year, $13 million deal that makes him one of the highest paid kickers in the NFL.
