Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears: First quarter recap and second quarter discussion

Fifteen minutes down at Soldier Field, and your Minnesota Vikings trail the Chicago Bears by a score of 7-0.

The Vikings appeared to have a big play early on, as Danielle Hunter chased down Mitchell Trubisky and stripped the ball away. Everson Griffen recovered the loose ball, but a defensive holding penalty on the Vikings wiped the call off the board. Mitchell Trubisky was injured on the play, and Chase Daniel came in at quarterback for the Bears in his place.

The Bears got a big pass from Daniel to Allen Robinson to set themselves up with first-and-goal at the Minnesota 5-yard line.
