Minnesota Vikings add another running back to their roster

Earlier this week, the Minnesota Vikings decided to part ways with second-year running back Roc Thomas. Even though the Vikings claim his departure was not due to the recent three-game suspension he was given by the league, it’s hard to believe that this didn’t play a part in the team’ decision.

So with Thomas gone, the remaining running backs on Minnesota’s roster consisted of Dalvin Cook, Mike Boone, Alexander Mattison, and Ameer Abdullah. At least this was the case until Wednesday.

The Vikings announced on Wednesday that they have claimed former New York Jets running back De’Angelo Henderson off of waivers.
