Lunch Break, 8/14: CFL'er Peters Aiming For A Spot

The Vikings broke camp in Mankato yesterday and now are one step closer to the regular season. A couple significant events still stand in the way of the Monday Night Football opener at San Francisco and perhaps the biggest are roster cut dates on September 1st and 4th. Vikings LB Brian Peters has been impressing and hopes to stick around longer than those early September dates.

He is an undersized linebacker on a team that probably will keep six linebackers not named Brian Peters.
