Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell's attention has been caught by undrafted rookie quarterback Max Brosmer, who has been making a case for him to be the third-string quarterback on the roster.
Brosmer saw significant playing time in the Vikings' 20-12 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 2 of preseason action. He finished the game completing 15 of 27 passes for 156 yards and one interception, but he almost completed a 20-9 comeback and was 13 yards away from setting up the potential game-tying touchdown and two-point conversion.
During his postgame press conference, O'Connell praised his young quarterback as he has been handling the pass rushes of the NFL and improving his game.
