The NFL’s annual Top 100 poll, voted on entirely by the players, always makes for fun offseason fodder, as the results tend to swing in extreme fashion over a 12-month sample.
The NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2024, for example, featured Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill in the No. 1 spot. He earned it after posting back-to-back 119-catch, 1,700-yard seasons from 2022-23. That didn’t earn him much grace for the 2024 season, though. Hill struggled through a nagging wrist injury and poor quarterback play, failed to eclipse 1,000 yards for the first time since 2019, and plummeted to No.
