Minnesota Vikings fans are still on cloud nine after watching J.J. McCarthy account for three touchdowns in the fourth quarter comeback win over the Chicago Bears on Monday night. While it's only one game and that's a minimal sample size, it's okay for Vikings fans to overreact and think that their team has finally found a young quarterback who can do great things for this franchise.
After a rough three quarters to start his first true NFL season, McCarthy rebounded in a big way in the fourth and final quarter. He threw two touchdown passes to help the Vikings take the lead over the Bears and then essentially iced the game when he dashed 14 yards into the end zone, giving Minnesota a 27-17 lead and sending Bears fans to the exits.
