Former Vikings WR Randy Moss Sounds the Gjallarhorn

The former Vikings wide receiver sounded the Gjallarhorn prior to the second regular-season game at U.S. Bank Stadium before the Vikings hosted the New York Giants.

Moss is now part of ESPN’s broadcast crew for Monday Night Football games.

The former wide out was the second Vikings legend to sound the new Gjallarhorn to signal the Vikings to battle.

Hall of Fame Head Coach Bud Grant was the first to sound the horn in the Vikings defeat over the Green Bay Packers in Week 2.

Moss played for the Vikings for eight seasons 1998-04 and 2010, totaling 9,316 yards which is second in franchise history behind Cris Carter (12,383).
