Former Minnesota Vikings corner Captain Munnerlyn was arrested on Friday.
When Mike Zimmer was hired as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings in 2014, one of his first tasks was figuring out how to fix the team’s abysmal pass defense. No team was worse in 2013 than the Vikings when it came to stopping their opponent’s passing attack
So in an effort to improve their secondary, Minnesota turned to free agency and ended up signing veteran cornerback Captain Munnerlyn. Prior to joining the Vikings, Munnerlyn started 50 games in five seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
