On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins announced a pair of new additions to their roster, one of which included former Minnesota Vikings cornerback Cameron Dantzler.
Earlier this year, Dantzler appeared in six games with the UFL's Memphis Showboats, and he clearly did enough to earn a chance at a roster spot with the Dolphins. Unfortunately, he only has a week to make a good impression in Miami, since final rosters are due next Tuesday by 3 p.m. CST.
Still, NFL teams are giving the 26-year-old cornerback opportunities again, and after his departure from the Vikings in 2023, those chances seemed like they were going to quickly disappear.
