The Minnesota Vikings are worth $1.59 billion, according to the latest estimates from Forbes.

It's a 38 percent bump from last year, in step with league-wide gains driven by new national television deals.

The Vikings figure is by far the highest since Forbes began tracking team values 18 years ago. But as far as the NFL goes, it's only middle-of-the-pack, ranking 18th out of 32 teams.
