The Minnesota Vikings are planning a mixed-use development at their new team headquarters and practice facility in Eagan.
Team executives unveiled plans Friday morning for the 185-acre site -- located at Dodd Road and Lone Oak Parkway -- and said they are close to submitting them to the city.
The NFL team has signed a deal to relocate from their storied but dated Winter Park facility in Eden Prairie to the former Northwest Airlines headquarters, which sits next to Interstate 494. The Eagan complex has sat mostly vacant since the airline moved its merged operations with Delta Air Lines to Atlanta.
