Danielle Hunter Is Back — Sort Of

The Minnesota Vikings returned to Eagan this week for training camp, and among the top storylines surrounding the event involved outside linebacker Danielle Hunter, who held out of minicamp in June because of a desire for a contract extension.

Hunter is scheduled to earn just $5.5 million in ‘new money’ this season.

And at training camp Tuesday, the team’s leaders, head coach Kevin O’Connell and general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, took the microphone. The two explained Hunter is indeed at training camp but won’t partake in practice.
