In addition to all of the discussions about J.J. McCarthy, plenty of chatter about the Minnesota Vikings since the start of the 2025 season has been centered around their decisions to move on from Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold earlier this year, especially given how well both veteran quarterbacks had played heading into Week 9.
Well, after Sunday, the Vikings and their fans should at least feel better about letting Jones walk out the door to sign with the Indianapolis Colts this past offseason.
In the Colts' Week 9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jones looked more like the perplexing version of himself that existed more in the early part of his NFL career when he was a member of the New York Giants.
