A couple of weeks ago, we learned that Minnesota Vikings star cornerback Xavier Rhodes was part of a group of cornerbacks that were working out together on the West Coast. One of his workout partners was former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. Sherman was released by the Seahawks back in March, and soon after signed with the San Francisco 49ers.
While the Vikings weren’t reported to have shown any interest in Sherman when he was released, it sounds like Sherman was certainly interested in the Vikings.
According to a column from Robert Klemko, who is apparently taking over Peter King’s old spot at the MMQB, Sherman was only interested in “sharing a sideline” with a couple of quarterbacks following his release by Seattle.
