It’s always fun to root for the hometown players, but sadly this chapter of the story for Minnesota native Marcus Sherels has come to an end with the Minnesota Vikings for the second time in his career.
This time, Sherels’ stay was short. The University of Minnesota product only lasted 28 days on the Vikings roster. In his three games played, he returned six punts for 33 yards and one kickoff for nine yards.
After being inactive for Week 7 against the Lions, it was pretty fishy that something was going on with the cornerback.
