The Vikings made a relatively large financial commitment to Carter as a UDFA, providing him with a $40,000 signing bonus and a $300,000 salary guarantee.
Traits
Carter is an underweight edge rusher, but otherwise has prototypical length and agility for the position. His poor explosion testing belies his quick first step that is an important trait for the position as well that is difficult to measure in athletic testing.
