Against the Detroit Lions last Sunday, it seemed like Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen was on his way to having an impressive afternoon.
The Vikings got their first points of the day thanks to Thielen hauling in a touchdown pass midway through the first quarter to tie the game up at seven apiece. Unfortunately, that ended up being his last catch of the matchup since he injured his hamstring on the play and did not return.
Since Minnesota’s win over the Lions on Sunday, Thielen has been optimistic about his chances to play in the team’s Week 8 matchup against the Washington Redskins on Thursday night.
