A day after he was waived by the Minnesota Vikings, veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen has reportedly been claimed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
Thielen will now join forces with Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is despised by the majority of the Vikings fan base following all of his battles with Minnesota when he was a member of the Green Bay Packers.
With a current record of 6-6, Pittsburgh isn't exactly guaranteed a spot in the playoffs this season. But based on pure vibes, Thielen has a much better shot at appearing in the postseason this year with the Steelers than he did if he stuck around with the Vikings for the rest of the 2025 campaign.
