Maplebrook Fury vs Salvo SC
The opening match of the 2019 WPSL North Season saw the newly re-branded Maplebrook Fury (formerly TwinStars Dragons) take on the new Salvo SC. Fury opened the scoring in the 25’ when Taylie Scott popped a shot in off a rebound from a play that started as a throw in. Patricia Ward got the equalizer for Salvo in the 31’ after staying onside and beat the defenders receiving a 25 yard pass before getting into the box and beating the keeper on a beautiful shot into the upper right hand corner, in what would be the final goal of a 1-1 draw.
