Quick Recap: Minnesota secures three points in Austin

After an 0-2-1 stretch for Minnesota United the Loons headed down to the Lone Star State for their third encounter with Austin FC in the 2021 Major League Soccer season. With five players returning from International Duty and just two players out on injury the Loons roster was back to nearly 100%. Robin Lod, who’s been mainly playing striker as of recent, was moved to right wing with Adrien Hunou taking up the spot at striker.

Minnesota scored fairly early on in the match with a 16th minute goal. Reynoso took a hard free kick at goal.
