Quick Recap: Loons draw Portland in a goalfest

With six players out and two listed as questionable, things didn't look great for Minnesota United heading into their clash against Portland on Saturday. Things began to look up when both players listed as questionable (Reynoso and Arriaga) we're put into the Starting XI at Allianz Field.

Heath lined up his traditional 4-2-3-1 formation with Amarilla up top. Fragapane, Reynoso, and Hlongwane took the spots as attacking midfielders while Arriaga and Lod lined up as defensive mids. Lawrence, Dibassy, Boxall, and Taylor made up the back line in front of starting goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair.

That positive outlook would initially fade, just 13 seconds into the match when Portland's Sebastián Blanco scored the match opener in one of the fastest goals in MLS history.
