Minnesota United FC has loaned goalkeeper Alex Kapp to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the United Soccer League (USL).
MLS has entered into a 2017 Standard USL Loan Agreement for Kapp. This agreement contains a right of recall for MLS, which enables Kapp to play for Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Minnesota United FC throughout the duration of the loan period (through the end of 2017), subject to roster rules and compliance.
Kapp was claimed off waivers by MNUFC on August 8, 2017. The former United States U17 national team member was selected 68th overall in the fourth round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by Atlanta United FC.
